A-Level Success at Townsend Church of England School

We are delighted with the outstanding successes of our A-level students this year and are exceptionally proud of them all.

All students who applied to university have happily accepted their places and we wish them all the best for their futures.

Notable achievements are by

  • Nathan Rees who achieved 3 A grades in Maths, Physics and Psychology,
  • Lilli Stachini who achieved A*, A, B in Philosophy and Ethics, Sociology and English Literature,
  • Rebecca Kemball-Cook who achieved A,A,B in English Literature, Maths and French and
  • Edward Ronayne who achieved A,A,B in Physics, Psychology and Maths

 

Year 13

Townsend is a founding member of the very successful Post 16 (6th Form) Consortium – The Alban Learning Partners (ALPs).

Our partners are St Albans Girls’ School, Loreto College, Samuel Ryder Academy and
Marlborough Science Academy.  We also have partnerships and links with other education providers in St Albans and beyond, for example, including St Mary’s High School and St Michaels Catholic High School.

(Number of boys in school aged 17*  = 17, Number of girls in school aged 17* = 12, Total = 29)

Students recorded on roll on the third Thursday in January 2016, aged 17 on or before the 31st August 2016
