The next Hertfordshire Schools’ Gala Concert will take place on Sunday 23^rd March 2025.

The 2025 Gala theme is ‘For the Record…’, celebrating music across generations and exploring what music means to today’s young people. There will be a new commission written for this event and HMS want to shape this by showcasing students’ musical interests and leaving a mark on the last 30 years of music and the Hertfordshire Schools’ Gala.

If you would like to join Gala Youth Focus Group to collaborate on thoughts and ideas for planning aspects of the Gala including staging, programming, lighting, sound and more please apply by 22 March. Applicants must be aged 15 or over.

A brand new opportunity involving attending online meetings in the lead up to the Gala to collaborate on thoughts and ideas for different aspects of the Gala including staging, programming, lighting etc. See attached flyer for more details.
You don’t need any experience, just lots of enthusiasm and an interest in music and events.
Depending on your skill set there is also the opportunity to have a role on the day of the Gala, in addition to a complimentary ticket to watch the performances, if you’re not performing in the event.
