The year 11 GCSE PE group took a trip to Morfa Bay activities centre in Wales from the 6th to the 9th October to take part in a range of outdoor activities that tested their physical and mental skills and helped many face and overcome their fears.
Activities included:
– A team building course – a test of communication, team work, problem solving and perseverance
– Coasteering – swimming in the sea, climbing up and jumping off cliffs – so much fun even the seals came to join in
– Assault course – getting very wet and muddy working as a team to get through different obstacles – think a smaller version of a tough mudder
– Sea kayaking
– Archery
– Climbing
– Abseiling
– Pistol shooting
– Walking on Water (zorbing)
– Giant scalextric
– bumper boats
– laser clay shooting
