Friends of Townsend
The ‘Friends of Townsend’ is an extended development of the previous Parents Teachers Association. It was set up as the ‘Friends of Townsend’ to accommodate past parents and students that wished to remain key supporters of the school.
The group’s main function is:
- To support the school in raising extra funds through a wide range of activities and events.
- To encourage parents to be more involved in our school community
- To enhance relationships between the school, staff and parents.
Being a Friend of Townsend helps us to provide students with extra opportunities by helping to raise money for the school to facilitate experiences the school budget can’t cover. Friends of Townsend will allocate where the funds are spent with guidance from the school.
