Travel to Townsend
At Townsend, we are committed to promoting safe, sustainable and active travel. We encourage students to travel responsibly, whether by walking, cycling, public transport or school bus.
We are proud to be one of only a small number of schools in Hertfordshire to achieve the highest Modeshift STARS Outstanding Accreditation for our travel plan. Our initiatives include promoting public transport, working closely with local bus operators, encouraging active travel and supporting our students to travel safely and independently.
