Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) and Citizenship
Students at Townsend undertake a Personal Development programme of study which includes the teaching of PSHE, Citizenship, Careers Education, and Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) Programme.
Our curriculum is designed to empower students with the knowledge, skills and attributes necessary to lead fulfilling lives, make informed decisions, and contribute positively to society. We strive to nurture well-rounded individuals who are emotionally resilient, socially responsible and equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern world.
Course Details
Personal Development is taught during two tutor time sessions a week for years 7, 8 and 9.
