Sixth Form Update – Townsend Church of England School

It has been a busy and productive few weeks in Sixth Form.

Year 13 took part in a focused ‘Moving On’ session delivered by STEP, giving students the chance to reflect on how far they have come and to consider their next steps beyond sixth form.

The Sixth Form enjoyed a brilliant, student‑led assembly from 12C, who explored the history and meaning of Valentine’s Day, helping the year group learn more about the traditions behind it.

Students in Year 12 also received an important Learning for Life (LFL) session on exam stress and coping strategies, delivered by our school practitioner, Jo Chapman. Jo has additionally offered a drop‑in session for any Year 12 students who would like extra support as they approach their summer exams.
