Silver Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Success!
Last weekend, 11 of our Year 13 students travelled to the beautiful New Forest to complete their Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Expedition.
In the weeks leading up to the expedition, students worked incredibly hard to prepare, carefully planning their routes, organising their menus, and ensuring they were fully equipped to carry everything they needed for three days of independent trekking.
The weather was kind throughout most of the expedition, providing stunning conditions for walking and navigation, with only a little rain arriving on the final afternoon. Demonstrating resilience, teamwork and determination, the group successfully navigated their routes and completed this challenging section of their Silver Award.
Congratulations to Amaha, Charlie, Charlotte, Finn, Gabby, Gracie, Joel, Lewis, Luigi, Nasri and Ronnie on this fantastic achievement. We are incredibly proud of your commitment, perseverance and positive attitude throughout the expedition.
