Our Year 12 students were able to take part in the trip due to a careers in golf programme. Our students experienced a 3 hour workshop in school with Jack Cole from the Golf Forum looking at the different career paths and jobs which are part of the golf industry.
This was then followed by the trip today which gave the students a behind the scenes tour of the Centurion Club which had a world class course and clubhouse and an opportunity to spend the afternoon watching part of the Ladies European Tour. Only 5 schools in Hertfordshire took part in this opportunity!

Assistant Headteacher

The Bishop started their visit with a Q & A with our Sixth Form students, which consisted of questions like:
‘Why did you want to become a bishop?’
‘What are your views on same sex relationships?’
‘Who do you think will win the election and why?’
‘What is the most difficult aspect of being a bishop?’
‘What is your favourite song?’
After the Q & A the Bishop was able to enjoy a lunch with our Staff, Governors and Father Calum.
The Bishop ended their time with us by leading our Year 7 and 8 students in their collective worship, focusing on the Good Samaritan!
