We will be implementing a price increase on our school meals with effect from 1^st October 2024 to reflect the increasing cost of produce.

 

The cost of the ‘Meal Deal’ option will increase from £2.60 to £2.80 to a maximum increase of 20 pence on other meal options.  We feel that the price increase continues to represent great value to families and school staff.  Details about their menus, food allergies and a wealth of other useful information can be found on their website https://www.hcl.co.uk/

If your child is in receipt of Free School Meals they will automatically have a daily allowance of £2.80 credited to their school meal account.  If you think that your child may be eligible for Free School Meals, please visit https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/services/schools-and-education/at-school/free-school-meals/free-school-meals.aspx and complete an application or telephone 0300 123 4048.

Please note that the Free School Meal allowance can only be used at lunchtimes and your child’s school meal account must be topped up on School Gateway to purchase food and drinks during the break period.

We are going cashless

Please note that our ‘Cash Loader’ machine will not be in use from after the October Half Term.  Your child will not be able to top up their school meal account with physical money.

Please top up your child’s school meals account

Please ensure that you child’s school meals account is topped up regularly.  Unfortunately, we are not able to give credit and children will be asked to make alternative arrangements if their account falls into arrears.  If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please contact the school office.
