Cathedral Service Wednesday 21st May
Our next Cathedral Service is on Wednesday 21st May at 2pm.
All parents and carers are welcome to attend as guests, please email admin@townsend.herts.sch.uk if you would like to reserve a seat.
As a school we will be walking to the Abbey together and students will be free to go home directly from the abbey at 3pm. Please ensure your child knows how they are getting home. If your child requires a lift back to school after the service, do email admin@townsend.herts.sch.uk by Friday 9th May to book a seat on the minibus.
For this service we are collecting monetary donations for ‘Hands at Work’, a charity supporting communities in Africa and supported by the Cathedral. It is one of the three new charities we will be supporting as a school this coming year under the new Head Student team. More information on our new charities will be shared with students in July during collective worship. Donations can be made on School Gateway for the Zambia project or students can offer cash donations during afternoon form time visits from our Head Students in the coming week.
