Sixth Form Supreme Court Trip
On Friday 27th February, Sixth Form students visited the UK Supreme Court.
Where they explored the main courtrooms, learned about the role and work of the Court, and had the opportunity to sit in the judges’ seats. The visit offered valuable insight into the accessibility and significance of the nation’s highest judicial body. They then toured Westminster Abbey, seeing the Coronation Chair, Poets’ Corner, and memorials to key figures from British history. Stories shared by guides helped bring centuries of culture, science, and monarchy to life.
The trip offered a valuable chance to experience two national institutions firsthand, deepening students’ understanding of British history, democracy, and public life.
