A Level results day is on Thursday 15th August. The school will be open from 9am for students to come in and collect their results.
Normally, students will know before hand if they have been accepted onto their university courses or not. If your child is not accepted or has changed their mind on their first choice, then they will have to go through clearing. I and other teachers will be on hand during the morning to support students through this process.
Please see the following guidance from UCAS regarding the clearing process. https://www.ucas.com/undergraduate/clearing-and-results-day
Students will also have a Learning for Life lesson on this topic and student finance.
If you have any questions please contact me at the school.

Verso will be providing a fresh and healthy cooked lunch every Wednesday during the school holidays throughout 2024, for children in receipt of Pupil Premium, Refugees and families living on a tight budget.

By completing this survey we can better understand the views and support needs of parents and carers regarding apprenticeships and technical education for your child.
As one of the key influencers in a young person’s decision-making journey, it is important that we can help you feel confident in helping and supporting your child to explore the many options that are available beyond school.
By completing this survey, you are contributing towards the development of the Hertfordshire Apprenticeships Strategy, helping to secure funding to better support your child’s school and providing important insights to be used both at an individual school and county-wide level. If you would like more information, please visit the HOP website.
This survey is being conducted by Amazing Apprenticeships on behalf of Hertfordshire LEP and Hertfordshire Careers Hub. All responses will be kept confidential, and we will not share your details or individual responses with any other parties.
If you have more than one child currently in secondary school, please answer the following questions with your eldest secondary school-aged child in mind.
The survey should take between 5 – 10 minutes to complete.

After the success of our recent NHS National AHP Work Experience session, I am thrilled to extend an invitation to your students in years 10-13 or S3-S6 year groups for our upcoming session on Sunday 7th April, 8:30am – 5pm, focusing on Communication & Fractures.
Register here: https://alliedhealthmentor.org/nhs-healthcare-careers-virtual-work-experience/
The NHS Virtual Allied Healthcare Work Experience offers a unique opportunity for aspiring healthcare professionals. It’s a rare occasion for students to hear from our exceptional guest speaker, Melanie Dalby, a pharmacist specialising in haematology and clinical academic research lead for pharmacy at King’s College Hospital.
Melanie will provide invaluable guidance to help these future professionals embark on their dream healthcare careers. Following Melanie’s talk, students will gain an intimate look at the healthcare industry in the LIVE virtual work experience, delving into diverse roles within allied healthcare and taking a closer look at patient care by following the journeys of two patients from incident through to treatment.
