The staff and students had a lovely evening out, enjoying the unique and unusual theatre production. The production was about a young boy’s journey through a series of magical and terrifying events, which uncovers a magical world! Thank you to Mrs Coates for organising the theatre trip!
To help them increase their confidence and self esteem. The mentoring course runs for 6 weeks and will consist of lots of well-being tools for the students to have ready to use to help build their confidence up. Thank you Helena!

The purpose of this activity is to dive deeper into the five sampling methods used within psychology which are: random, opportunity, volunteer, systematic and stratified.
Our yr12 psychology students are also looking after ‘baby’ eggs currently, to also look into attachment theory! Fingers crossed they don’t crack!
Anyone volunteering will be needed to help on any of the following dates:
Wednesday 8th November – 5pm- 8pm- Year 11 Parent Carer Evening
Monday 4th December – (Timings to follow)- Year 10 Work Experience Evening
Thursday 7th December – 5pm- 8pm- Year 10 Parent Carer Evening
Friday 8th December – 6:30pm- 9pm- Christmas Pantomime
Festive Gift Stall (dates TBC, either Fri 15th Dec and Mon 18th Dec OR Mon 18th Dec and Tues 19th Dec). 1:15pm- 1:55pm outside underneath the large canteen awning. Please can students bring in cash on the day if they wish to purchase something.
All money raised provides more facilities for our students. Please if you can supply any goods for the Festive Hampers or our Christmas Present Stall please send them into reception attention of Ian Graham.

There were lots of activities, talks and workshops throughout the year groups and all students had an informative afternoon.
Our drama students had the chance to see ‘La Traviata’ in the beautiful venue. They had a lovely time and also had the chance after the performance to see the London with all it’s Christmas cheer! Thank you, Mrs Coates, for organising the trip, it was an amazing experience!
