Enrichment Afternoon – Townsend Church of England School

On Friday 14^th March we have our second enrichment afternoon of the year. We have an exciting programme arranged and students will have a range of activities and/or outside speakers.

Year 7 and Year 11 will be learning about Oracy skills and learn about exploratory and presentational talk. They will be introduced to skills to help them be better at articulating themselves in different settings.

Year 8 will have a workshop with The Power of Events about careers in the events industry and follow up activities on Unifrog – our careers web based platform.

Year 9 are with STEP and are exploring spirituality and safety online.

Year 10 will listen to an external speak on Animal Aid with follow up wellbeing activities. They will also have a talk on protective behaviours and consent.

Year 12 will be working on writing CV’s and learning about careers in law/legal work.

Year 13 have speakers from LinkedIn and Academia to kickstart their professional journeys and learn about careers in large companies, law and legal industries.

We look forward to a productive and informative day.
