Sometimes knowing where to go for support can be challenging.

The area partnership has worked together to produce this directory which sets out the range of mental health services available in Hertfordshire for children and young people. We hope this will be a useful and easy place to go to find universal, targeted and specialist support for mental health, enabling you to access the right / range of services available in this area quickly.

“Oliver” Auditions!

If you’re interested in taking part, then sign up to audition on Monday 10th December during morning break time in the drama studio.

Auditions will take place on Wednesday 13th December. Starting at 3:30pm- 4:30pm in the school hall.

Please make payment on school gateway by Thursday 7th December. Please ensure that you select the correct meal choice and that your child has sufficient funds available on their account on the day. The cost for the meal is £3.50.

ASC Coffee Mornings & Free Parent Network

Please find attached the two flyers, one advertising ASC coffee mornings and the other advertising the Free Parent Network support group in St Albans.

Both of the groups are ideal for parents/carers of young people with SEND, who are within the local community. With both networks you will receive free support and information and will be able to connect with others parents/carers.

Maths Inspiration Show

Students from Years 10-12 enjoyed an enrichment opportunity visiting the Cambridge Theatre in London for the Maths Inspiration Show this week.

There were 4 Math speakers who showed how Maths can be used in real world applications. It was a great day and experience for our young Mathematicians!

London Philharmonic Orchestra Trip

40 GCSE Music students from Year 9, 10, 11 had the pleasure of seeing the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall this afternoon.

Teaching us key musical concepts, quizzing and playing works by Beethoven, Haydn, Farrenc, Copeland and some amazing film music including Lord of the Rings. A fantastic experience!

Christingle Cathedral Service

Our Christingle Cathedral Service is taking place on Wednesday 6th December at St Albans Cathedral (2pm-3pm).

The address of the Cathedral is: Cathedral, Sumpter Yard, St Albans AL1 1BY.

The timetables for piano, keyboard, bass guitar and singing are currently full but you can still register and join the waiting list.
